Hi Helen – a quick follow up note to say thank you for stepping in to run this project. This was a rather unique situation for us. We don’t often turn down or walk away from work, but I do think there’s something to be said for being able to introduce you and Michael as topic “experts” to address the concerns the client expressed. Hopefully our paths will cross again and we can have an opportunity to work together. 

We’re happy to report that our client meeting went very well today. They were very impressed how quickly we were able to pull this off, and even said “I am sure some late nights went into that! Did the team crawl into a wormhole to freeze time?” Thanks again for all the hard work with the focus groups and quant survey over the last few weeks Helen. We really appreciate the effort that went into getting this done on such a tight schedule.

I like your interviewing style Mike because you are really present and engaged with the respondent. You have a good grasp on this very technical medical product and you didn’t seem glued to the guide, but still hit on stated objectives.  You didn’t cut off respondents, yet directed the line of discussion to keep it relevant.  You also don’t come off as intimidating – as male interviewers sometimes do.

I have always been impressed by Mike’s ability to take in a great quantity of brand new information and build an efficient discussion guide that can be used to generate real insight into a client’s products or services.  This talent extends across all subject areas that I’ve seen.  Furthermore, these subject areas are highly technical and complex.  I don’t think Mike realizes how good he is at this, & sees it as no big thing.

Montgomery County requires depositions to take place within the county.  This is a wonderful venue to take a deposition with all the technology (audio and video) that you may need, plenty of well-lit space, and courteous staff who are eager to make their clients comfortable.  Highly recommend!

Total privacy – one project/client per day so they have the run of the place with great control of confidential project material. Avoids all the inconvenience of center city, but maintains proximity to hotels and restaurants. On site right-out-the-door parking.

I just saw the studio and it is lovely. Unique features include big screen viewing room with multiple camera angles simultaneously available so you can see all faces all the time, viewing room upstairs so clients can be in the light and make noise unbeknownst to interview room.

When we had extra questions towards the end of the interview, the docs had no problem staying a bit later saying “I only live a couple miles down the road – no traffic like in the Philly area to contend with now.

The experience for me was like hosting a cocktail party in my living room! Debriefing was more relaxed. Not only did we have light, but the leather couches were very comfortable…

The consumers recruited for these groups were very conversant and conversational – they were obviously “virgin” respondents!
